My grandfather, Joseph J. Holik served in the U.S. Naval Armed Guard toward the end of World War II. Below is a list of the Armed Guard Log Crew List 8 May 1944 for the S.S. Joshua Hendy. During the time my grandfather was on this ship, he sailed from New Orleans, LA to Ensenada, Puerto Rico. From there to Guyanilla to Guantanamo, Cuba.
