I am officially in ProGen Group 10 (Thursday night). I received my email notification to join BaseCamp. BaseCamp is a website that allows the group to submit assignments, chat with each other, etc. Our first assignment will be posted Wednesday, September 1, and Thursday evening we will chat with the other members of our group to get to know each other.
Our first task was to write an introduction to send to the group. The participants come from a diverse background of degrees, careers, years of research, genealogical education, etc. I believe because of such great diversity, I will learn a great deal and am so excited to begin.
