What a week it has been for genealogy and meeting new people! I am finding more genealogy bloggers in the Chicago area which is very exciting and the best part is, we have a lot more in common than just genealogy!
Last Saturday I had coffee with Melissa from Pawprints Guiding Me to the Past and we talked research for over an hour. Can’t wait to get together again!
Yesterday I chatted via email with Nikki from Blog of a Genealogist in Training. If you are interested in the ProGen Study Group or NGS Courses, check out her posts. I learned a lot about what to expect for some of the ProGen assignments.
Today I had two messages from my Ancestry.com tree. One was a woman near me connecting her Iozzo line to mine. We are making plans to meet up soon and search for folks in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. The other message was from a woman offering photos for a distant cousin line of mine. This line, the Kauperts, more closely connects to a woman I met on FaceBook who lives in Hawaii, so I need to get back in contact with her.
And finally, today I launched my business webpage. You can see it here – Generations.
Happy researching!!

Thanks, Jen. Can’t wait to talk again. It’s amazing how fast time flies when you’re talking genealogy.
